AEB Group, the multinational company, leader in biotechnologies for wine and for the Food & Beverage sector with headquarters in Brescia (Italy), acquires the majority share of Innotec Tecnologie Innovative Srl, an Italian company offering state-of-the-art plant and beverage solutions. Thanks to this strategic operation, AEB will expand its range, supplementing it with Innotec equipment and technology.

AEBa global leader in the production of biotechnology solutions for the wine, beverage and food markets with headquarters in Brescia (Italy), signed an agreement to acquire the majority share of Innotec, an Italian company located in Verona. The acquisition of the leading equipment manufacturer augments AEB’s innovative and leading product portfolio in the oenology and broader beverage industries: the offer of AEB equipment is further enriched and becomes one of the most complete and innovative in the wine and beverage sector (beer, juices, soft drinks, mineral waters, etc.). Innotec, besides continuing the production of equipment that has made the company famous in the world of plant engineering, together with AEB will develop new technologies for the oenological sector, in order to optimize the management of cellar operations.

Mario Tomasoni (on the left in the picture), Chief Executive Officer of AEB Group, commented: "This acquisition will allow us completing our proposal with a higher number of references, especially regarding plant engineering, raising standards in terms of innovation and quality and confirming our global leadership.” And he continues: "We are convinced that the knowledge and expertise we will acquire through Innotec will support the improvement of automation standards, optimizing all processes in the cellars and in beverage companies."

Luca Zavarise (on the right in the picture), who will remain the Managing Director of Innotec and will become the second largest shareholder of the company, comments: "We are specialized in the production of high-level equipment recognized worldwide for their technology. Our systems guarantee the removal of microorganisms naturally occurring in beverages, in order to obtain the biological stability of the bottled product."

The tailor-made philosophy characterizing the company is also highlighted: "Every plant we produce" - continues Zavarise - "is exclusive, customized and designed based on customers’ requirements. I am sure Innotec will find the right integration in the AEB business force, to transmit professionally and timely its own technological content."

Founded in 1999 in Verona, Innotec has developed its state-of-the-art equipment over the years and is present on the leading wine markets of the world, with a turnover of over 5 million euros, achieved 70% from exports. Besides oenology, its area of activity is concerned with all the beverage sectors: beer, mineral waters, soft drinks, juices, spirits and moderately alcoholic beverages.
