BMWK offers funding for the drinktec start-up platform

Please note: The BMWK funding is only available for legally independent companies with registered office and business operations in Germany. If you would like to participate in the start-up area as an international exhibitor please use this application form.

Young innovative companies wishing to take part in drinktec 2022 in Munich have the opportunity to receive funding from the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Climate Action (BMWK, formerly BMWi) for their participation from September 12 – 16, 2022.

Interested companies can register their participation for joint stand at drinktec 2022. We also recommend contacting the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Climate Action at an early stage.

Clear advantage - this is promoted:

  • Area on the joint stand: 9 m² booth
  • Funding of 60 % of the direct event costs:
    Stand rental, cleaning, stand construction, security, electricity, carpeting, lighting, waste disposal, table with chairs, lettering panel with 30 letters., WIFI access
  • Subsidy of 50 % of the above-mentioned expenses from the third trade fair participation onwards

Requirements for your registration

  • First-time exhibitor at drinktec
  • Legally independent with registered office and business operations in Germany
  • Max. 10 years on the market, max. 10 million euros annual turnover, max. 50 employees
  • Companies that distinguish themselves through new product and process developments, i.e. those that differ significantly from existing products, processes and services
  • No participation at drinktec with an own booth outside the BMWK joint stand

Participation not eligible for funding: If grants for participation are awarded from other public funds (prohibition of cumulation). Please also note the limit for "DE-minimis" grants.

Excluded: Companies that do not belong to industry, crafts or technology-oriented service sectors, e.g. consulting and marketing companies, research providers or public companies.

Stand construction

  • stand area corner or row stand 9 sqm
  • stand construction "Made in Germany" incl. assembly and dismantling
  • furniture: 1 table, 3 armchairs, 1 high desk, 1 bar stool
  • fascia lettering (30 letters included)
  • lighting, power connection including 1 socket and power consumption
  • use of the common area incl. kitchen
  • AUMA fee
  • WIFI access

Services

  • daily stand cleaning and waste disposal
  • general security
  • 2 free exhibitor passes
  • involvement in the startup supporting program
  • on-site support by a trained trade fair hostess
  • mandatory communication fee (basic entry in trade fair catalog & visitor Guide, as well as further communication services)

Marketing / PR

  • unlimited number of free online vouchers for visitor day tickets
  • promotion of the joint stand in worldwide visitor communications

Package price without subsidy: EUR 5,760.00*

Stand price after subsidy of 60% event costs: EUR 2,304.00*

(*incl. obligatory communication fee of EUR 900.00; excl. VAT)
