Last mile

During drinktec, the Airport Messe München shuttle runs to and from Munich Airport. The buses run non-stop to the exhibition centre at regular intervals and the one-way journey takes around 45 minutes. The shuttle bus stops at the airport are located directly in front of Terminal 1, areas A and MAC (Munich Airport Centre), and Terminal 2. Tickets can be purchased online in advance.

You can reach drinktec by S-Bahn and U-Bahn: The S-Bahn station for lines S1 and S8 is located directly below the central area of Munich Airport. The S-Bahn trains to the city centre run every 10 minutes. Depending on the route, the journey takes between 45 and 60 minutes to the main railway station. From there, the underground line U2 in the direction of Messestadt Ost will take you to your destination; it takes 20 minutes from the main station. The U2 runs every 5 minutes. You can purchase your ticket online from MVG in the MVG app ‘MVGO’ (available for iPhone and Android) or at ticket machines. The journey is free with the Deutschland-Ticket (D-Ticket).

The journey from Munich Airport to the exhibition centre takes around 35 minutes by taxi.
